navigation systems??????

Im interested in a navigation system for my truck. please coment on any of the portable systems you have likes and dislikes features it should have and ones you dont really need. I am currently looking at several of the more expensive units and was wondering if I really needed to spend that kind of money.

I just purchased a used Garmin StreetPilot 2610. It's a color touchscreen model with remote control, voice prompts, and auto-routing. You can buy a 2GB compact flash card for it that will hold all of the maps for US and Canada.

I really like it for business trips to unfamiliar cities. I put in waypoints for the airport, my hotel, and the customer site, and the StreetPilot 2610 gets me where I want to go. Used and refurbished units available on eBay for around $400.
