“Stop The Talk Diesel Dyno Day”

I think my truck is expecting

My thanks also to John E and JJW for doing this event. Billy Fury, Donnie, and I had a great time. Too bad the Cheeseheads couldn't make it :-laf

Another fun day...

Was nice to see the familier faces and lots of new ones. The bigger crowds will cause us to be more organized. We will be alittle more prepared next time to get things going earlier and keep things moving along. Some of you guys sure have patient lady friends. Either of my younger daughters let alone my wife would have had enough by noon.

It is amazing how things progress. The first time we got together, there was not a truck that topped 400. Most were in the 200s. This time several were over 400 and many in the 300.

You guys with new trucks should now pass on the dyno... . at least one while stock. I sure wish I had a stock graph to compare with the ones since.

Wow the group multiplied. Thanks to Mike and Scot for there time. Thanks to Jerry and the Bartender(John) for putting it all together. Think I may do dv's to get a couple more horseys. :rolleyes: Geuss I can live with 270/711 for a little while yet. :{

WOW best turn out

I was really pleased with the number of folks that made the drive.

It was great to see Shawn again after his year in Iraq. Sadly, He didn't get to dyno his twin turbo truck as the head gasket let go the night before.

Still looking to get more hp & torque numbers from those that hit the rollers.

I was too busy being host and betty crocker in kitchen to get the numbers recorded.

Maybe Cornie will have that p-pumped 24 valve truck ready for a summer get together?

I may be in for a treat. Finally got the oil drain bolt located, was in a different hole. I guess I should have watched closer when he put it in. Took a good time to get it put it in the right hole. Lost it a couple times, etc. But the first thing I saw when I went out to the garage was a small puddle of oil on the floor kind of directly below the fuel filter. The bad thing is there are little spots of antifreeze sitting on top of the oil. I glanced up to see if the headgasket was leaking but it was dry up there. My whole lower left side of my engine is wet with oil, but it has been like that for awhile. I'm thinking vacuum pump leak there. But what could the coolant have came from? Headgasket leak, or the "mysterious 53 casting" cracked block? :confused:

John,

stacked 409/862, not stacked 372/814. I held my own i guess huh. well i still need more power i dont have josh or tim beat yet... ... . damn HP/TQ bug bit me good.
