NE1 Running aftermarket Cam in a 3rd Gen??

I know of 1 or 2 trucks on TDR, anyone else?

Justin, did they do a re-grind or start with a new core, I had heard the stockers had 7 degrees of retard in them.

Mine looks to be a re-grind, but I don't know what process was used for manufacturing it.

Scheids really didn't say too much about it, other than it should help spool up and egt's.

Although, a race car guy friend of mine and B series expert said that he

could see a profile difference in the cam.

So far I only have about 20 miles on the cam total in the 04. 5.



It changed the way the truck sounds (if you listen closely), its quieter and has less boost overall.

Boost off the line is instant.

Deeper tone now too!
