I remember reading here about the rebate price protection on ordered trucks about a month back, but I can't find the thread now. Somebody posted the name and phone number of the contact... I could shure use itnow. I ordered in December but still haven't gotten my truck yet. As a result, I missed the 0%/48mos AND $2,500 cash back promotion. From what I read before, DC is supposed to honor the rebates in effect when you order. Can anybody provide assistance?

ordered mine 2/1 when the 2000 and 48 month 0 was in effect and the truck arrived 4/13. the dealer wrote the paperwork based on the 48 month deal. never had to prove anything. is the dealer telling you that he can't do the deal based on the original deal? tell them to stick the truck and find another dealer if that is the case3. :-{}

I missed the 0% + $2000 deal by 4 days, ordered on 03-04. I was told by my dealer I would get at minum the $2500 rebate - which is effect now or if a better deal is available upon delivery I can choose that offer - it would be MY choice. My truck just went D1, so we'll see when it arrives.

You should get the rebate in effect at the time of purchase or delivery which ever is greater, unless you did not give a deposit in which case I beleive only the rebate in effect at the time of delivery is binding. This gives the buyer the benefit of the highest rebate. The only way you could lose is if the rebate goes up after purchase and back down before delivery, but this has not happened for these trucks.

0%/48mos+2K

There were quite a few of us that ordered our trucks when the incentive was 0%/48mos+2K rebate and when our trucks arrived the incentives changed. We went to the dealer armed with the information on sold order protection and had already confirmed with DC prior. No problems once educated. I will attach a previous post below. Good luck. Doug

I just picked my truck up yesterday with $2000+0% financing. sold order protection is for real just have the dealer call DC incentive office (800)227-0757 EXT 2056 and ask for Jocelyn, she was able to assist (straight them out)

Doug is right. There is no better advice than to have all of your prep work done before you step into the dealership.

1. have your dealer and/or finance guy call the incentive office. btw the deal was 48/0% and $2000 rebate, not $2500

2. get the rebate CERTIFICATE from your local farm bureau. It's not enough to be a member. you must bring the rebate certificate. i guess some dealers have em, some don't. mine didn't.

3. get them to commit to giving you the rubber plugs to replace the tape under the running board panels. (i couldn't believe how tacky that was when i looked)

good luck.
