I have given these cars to my son who moved to NY last year. His new 8 bay garage is finished.

I have better things to do than maintain more cars than I can drive in a week.

They are deteriorating faster sitting than if they were driven. The valve springs loose tension on the open valves if not run at least once a month. The 8k rpm engines are floating valves at 4k rpm. They need to be where they are raced regularly.

Have owned these cars for over 20yrs.

Also have a 68 Cyclone GT I bought new.

The Fairlane and Falcon wagons have stroked Windsor's, the Fairmont is a stroked 302, The Cyclone is a Cobra Jet. The 76 396 stroked windsor powered Pinto wagon is already in NY.

I bought a '65 Plymouth Satellite new w/383 330 hp, 4 spd w/Hurst Comp + shifter, limited slip axle. I kept it in like new condition for years and then when moving from Texas to Utah in '78 I gave it away for nada.

I could kick my britches for that one! That would be a nice addition to my retirement if I had held on to it. But, as you say, don't drive 'em, loose 'em. And with no a/c in it, it would not be my favorite car to drive here in Phoenix.

I have a '72 Impala 2 dr ht that my dad bought new. I restored it 3 years ago and then quit driving it because with the a/c compressor locked it wasn't any fun to drive here either. Just never bothered to fix the a/c.

The Impala is for sale if anyone wants it.
