Hey Cory, where in Iowa are you located? Your truck mods include a few of my up-and-coming ones. I have a Lund visor and now a Lund Racerback to get painted and install (I actually want to paint the whole truck). I have two of my Bushwacker extend-a-fender flares on now and will have the other two on this weekend and the diamond tread runningboards, too, I hope.
I still have a KDP to deal with and some serious steering/suspension work to do, as well as gauges to buy and install, and the NV5600 and SBC to install. Time and money... And I'm just getting started into the Dodge mods... This could get out of hand!
I run BFG Mud Terrains on my Dodge and my K30 Chevy. The Chevy has 35 x 12. 50 /16. 5's (the size you want) on it and they have been great for many years. The dodge has 16 inch 285's on it, but the lousy dodge front suspension/steering has already ruined the front tires. The rears are doing great.
So why don't you want Mud Terrains? They are far better off road and I like them better in snow, too. Until My dodge started cupping the fronts real badly, they have never been excessively noisy, and they will far outlast the All Terrains if you drive much gravel.
I can check with my tire dealer here in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area for your tire availability if you want me to. The 16. 5 x 35's on the Chevy cost me $150 each many years ago. The smaller 285/ 16 inch dodge tires cost $200 each three years ago. Mounted and balanced, of course. Let me know and I'll make a phone call.
