Need a 1-2 synchro fro getrag 360

I wonder if anyone might have a serviceable 1-2 synchro from a Getrag 360 from a junked transmission. The one I have has the rings broken in three pieces. This has been a real adventure! A female friend of mine owns the truck and it spent two years in two shops with both telling her it wasn't worth fixing the transmission. I think they were just trying to outwait her and buy the truck from her for a song. Nice truck too. Finally I went and dragged it to my place and went through the transmission to see what was wrong. Looks like it was suffering from a bad pilot bearing which took out the input shaft bearing. Turns out it just needed a few parts and a rebuild kit. However, its been a chore rounding up all the little parts that no-one bothered to preserve !



Re the synchro, if you have one with the rings with the three tabs intact and in decent shape, I don't really care about the rest. Let me know what you want for it as well.

I have seen synchros on ebay. sometimes included with a rebuild kit, however these vendors will sell you items seperately, I bought a few gaskets from on of the vendors I found on ebay. They were very helpful and although I forgot their name, they are located around Redding, CA

If you don't find a donor, you can get new ones from a number of shops. I like Quad4x4 myself…

I am going to go through both my getrags if I get the kit from the one ebay store- $209 apiece. I should have some parts left over that are still usable. This will be in the next week or two. I realize you need them now, but I may not be able to get to it that fast.

A fellow from Georgia has one. He'll pull it off the shaft in a couple of days and see if its good. Thanks for the replies!
