Rented the DBR111 from Miller SXP for 150. 00 dollars for three days. They will Ship it to you Next Day Air. Nice Scan Tool. Comes with all the cables to flash your ECM to the latest software (20325233AI). Changed my pinion factor, set high Idle, locks, changed delay on the headlights. Wish our trucks had the headlights on when wipers on feature.

Yes, It's the lighted path delay. I think it was 30,60,90 second delay.



O and one more thing, as far as a dealer service center detecting a footprint from a downloader with the DRB111 is just not true. Under a major warranty issue with the motor the ECM would have to be pulled and sent to STAR. Your warranty work would get done in the mean time.

My Vin # was set as a default of aaaaaaaaa0000000 when I viewed It. So I don't see why swapping ECM's would be a problem.



You can reset trip and HD cycle. Trip is the turn key counter and not sure on the HD cycle.



You can test each electronic component on the truck, Mil lamps in the dash, lock, unlock each door actuator, up/down windows.



Didn't have time but there was a spot where you can created a custom climate control program.



Wish I had time to play with the engine tests but my flex plate is broke.

I looked into renting one time but, figured... a service call from the dealer to hook up to a Starscan averages around $80. Their D/C Starscan can do everything you want and much more.

Now, if you could own the DBR tool ( 5K or more ) then you'd be set.

Most wont do everything... like foglights with high beams... thats a no noin the US... .
