Do a Google search for Mopar4Less. I've bought 2 sending units from them over the years--they are always less than normal dealers. Don't email them however, you have to call them to get the price. That's the way they work. But I've dealt with them for many things, and on stuff that is small their prices are good. On larger stuff the shipping eats up the savings.

my gauge was dead when i picked up my truck, a cleaning and tightening of the contacts on the sender and all was well, you can check it with a multimeter when you are done to see that it works, resistance should change smoothly as you raise and lower the float. while i was there i cleaned the screen and added a couple washers to the slides where the sender adjusts up and down to adapt to different sized tanks, every dodge i have taken apart the screws have worn through the slots due to vibration

My 99 the dealer kept replaceing sending unit

As I said the fuel gauge would stop working so the dealer would replace the sending unit about 6 times. Could not find the problem that was making the unit stop working. One day I was playing with the dash lights and the tail lights went out by turning the wheel for the dash lights and the fuel gauge also stop working. I went to the dealer and they replace the headlight switch, That ended my problem. strange Isn't It.
