Need a good gunsmith

I need to find a good gunsmith to cut the barrel back and remount the front sight on a Ruger Redhawk. I have used Magnaport in the past with good results. The only problem is the down time with them. The only other gunsmith I know of is Bowen Classic Arms, looks like they do go work, but again, huge wait for the work to be done. Any suggestions ?

Guy up in your neck of the wood, his name is Kraft. I dunno if he does this type of work, but I heard he's good.
If he dont, I'm sure he could steer you to someone who could.

Thanks Eric, I'll check him out, I believe he is Les Craft and runs a shop in Hunterdon Co. I should have done this when I was not in a rush, seems any good gunsmith is always backlogged.

Hey bigsaint, I have a man who does impeckable work. his name is George Herald from Heralds Gun shop in PA. I can give you more information if you like on this guy. I had him do some work to my Weatherby's brakes, recoil comps etc... Let me know

Now that I think about it, I think they do semi auto's only anyway.
