Looks like the jiuce leaked out of the stabilizer. I was wondering who makes a good one. Would it be better to have a twin stabalizer setup? I drive on quite a bit of gravel roads. lots of ruts & soft spots . Hoping for a little better handling.

I have the twin skyjacker set up and they are ok> If I had it to do over i would stick with the single. It is very noticable and slow to return to center now. A fried of mine had a single rancho(sp?) on his 1500 with 33" tires and it was fine. Have a shop remove the old one because it is a bear to get out of the track bar. I cut mine off flush with the track bar and then drilled in from the front of the truck with a 1/2" drill and beat on the back with a hammer. I just kept going deeper unitl i was able to pop it out. Make sure you find the center when you drill and start small and work up to the 1/2". The shop that he had his done at used an air hammer and it only took five min. Good luck

Tom

I put a replacement rancho in the stock upper and added a rancho on the tirod, works great for my 35's. Before when the tires got rounded in the front I would get a "wobble" around 45 mph, bad, has not done it in 2 years with 2 stabilizers. Adam

Jeff, I did the same thing as MY6EATSV8'S. I have found this is the best setup. I have the dual Skyjackers in the position of the OE Steering damper attached to the frame/drag link. Now there is only 1 shock in the dual bracket. The other is in the toolhouse. Duals on the draglink/frame made no difference than 1. The lower one down on the axle/tierod makes the most difference. Run the 2 like MY6EATSV8'S. Trailmaster & Rancho make good dampers to replace the OE frame/draglink or a kit for the axle/tierod.
