My wife gave me a Creative Zen Sleek MP3 player as a gift. It received very good reviews and seems to be easy to use. My dilema is that I have over 2500 songs on Itunes from my CD collection. Is there a way to convert from Itunes to a WMA or other format that this unit can use? Otherwise it may be going back to the store for a 30GB Ipod. Thanks for any info; this is my first MP3 player.

Windows Media Player will make it painless. Open it, hit F3, it will find all media on your computer (this will take a good long while if you have a lot). Then WMP will have a sync tab that you can use to move songs from your new WMP library over to you new MP3 Player.

I got this figured out. It wouldn't transfer any of the songs I PURCHASED from ITunes (hello, APPLE, note that I PURCHASED them, ie, they are mine!) I had to change all the other songs that I ripped from CD's to MP3 from AAC or whatever format Apple uses. I really like the Creative unit. It is very easy to use and holds lots of songs. I have over 3500 on it now, and those were saved as medium-large files, about 168kbs I think.

The exact reason I don't have an Ipod... but otherwise, have fun w/ the MP3 player.
