I heard good about Revmax for the 68rfe, myself I run a Suncoast for a year now and it works great.
I have the 68Rfe. I have maintained it very well even so far as sending in oil sample samples every time it has been serviced. Nothing but normal wear 140k miles on it but it has towed 75% of its life. I do the service myself. It’s happened twice now when I put it in drive it doesn’t move from a cold start. Now if I fire it up and it idles for a bit , no problem takes right off. Yes it full of fluid in it. I had the engine completely rebuilt 2 and a half years ago. Blew a hole in number 6 piston. I don’t have it turned up.

MY old DTT trans did that. I'd put it in neutral for the first start of the day. 20 seconds later it was good until it sat for 12 hrs or more. My buddy's got all Goerend and it's the nicest 48re I've ever driven.+1, Aisin here, if it sits for a long time (few weeks to a couple months) it takes it a little bit to get going.
Mine have oem and still does it (on occasion)Could the drainback issue be caused by putting a crappy trans spin-on filter in there which might have a weak anti drainback valve in it? Maybe that's a stupid question but I have heard that some poorer filters either have no valve or a very weak one.
