Just recently put a Westach fuel pressure gauge on my 99. The current lift pump is not even a year old (with about 15k miles on it) and the gauge is all over the place. It will generally hang around 5psi, but I've been seeing it drop down to 2-3. It's just a matter of time until it dies for good.

I really don't want to throw away good money buying another pump from the Cummins dealer, I'd just like a reliable pump. I've been looking at the Bully Dog system with the Holley Blue pump. I can get one for about $230 vice the Carter junk for $165. 00.

I'm thinking that switching over to the Holley has some distinct advantages like being commonly available just about everywhere in the event that it goes toes up, but I haven't seen anyone in TDR talk about the reliability of the Holley Blue pump.

Does anyone have any information on this system? Oo.

RASP, FASS, Holley, Mallory, carter (yuck) pick your flavor.

But dump the banjos and increase the size of your fuel lines.

Get a new factory lift pump, and relocate it using the big line kit from Vulcan Performance. Seems like people are having good luck with this kit (so far).
