Where is the cheapest or any place to get a new radiator?

1997 12V 215 Pump

I have what seems to be a fairly large leak. It only leaks when truck is running and warmed up and seems to be coming from the front area around the driver side healight.

I got my new one from radiators.com. They were willing to match any price I found and delivered it free of charge the next day. It was the cheapest certified oem I could find.

thank you very much for the fast reply

was yours cracked as well or? I dont hear many people replacing them that often, obviously unless there are holes etc. .

How long did the install take ?

thanks again

Carl

I'll tell u what I did. Napa had the lowest quoted prices @ 225 but there availability was a few days. I took that price & O'reilly's matched it & got it for me in a half a day. Installation took me a hour & 15 minutes & fit perfectly.

Mine was corroded and a significant portion of the fins had fallen off. The truck was running fine but I was adding coolant every 1k miles.

The install took me probably half an hour. I opened the drain and left for probably an hour and when I came back it was empty and the install went real easily. I unbolted the fan shroud and hung it on the fan then it was only 2 more bolts and 2 hose clamps to remove the radiator.

wow that is is an really easy install. I figured at the same time I do the KDP. Everyone tells me that the radiator out is about 60% of the work...

I didnt take my radiator off to do my KDP. I did however remove the front gear cover because the front seal was leaking.

Hi

I would recommend you look into the new original radiator from Mopar,,it's a new desingn,,same size as stock but in aluminum,,,it's the last one you'll ever buy,,even though it is a little pricey,,,mine was about $500. 00 canadian,,and will cool better than anything else out there. .

Well. . i got mine 2 years ago,,,it's the only replacement dodge has for the 94-98 12v,,probably the 24v too. . It's one very nice rad...
