Hitch Reccomendations

I have a chance to buy a 20 foot gooseneck flat bed with a 4 foot pop up dove tail. 7,000 lbs torsion axels made by Titan. GVWR is 14,000. It is a 98 I beleive , rubber is like new , has a spare , brakes on both axels. wooden deck. My mother in law is selling it and I have first crack at it. Buttttt I don't want to cheat her on the price

Thanks for any help

Find out what she paid for it and how hard it's been used. Then find out what she wants for it and come to a mutual agreement, then have her knock off another $1,000 because you're such a great guy and treat her daughter so well:D

Good luck;)

Knock off a thousand:rolleyes: Jeesh, I wish I would thought of that !! I will just tell her to give it to me free or she gets her daughter back :D

I am going to remember that one next time my father-in-law says he is going to send me a labor bill!:D

Don't know if this helps much, but a new one like you've described will run about 4500 to 5000. If it's in good shape I'd say 3000 to 3500 would be a fair price. By the way if your mother in law catches you cheating on her daughter before you get the trailer, I'm in the market (for a trailer) that is!

I agree with wyosteve. Prices run about the same here. My 2000' gooseneck is similar but has a 5' beaver tail, with no spare was 4200 at a farm show. List was about 46-48.

Holy smokes! A 2000 foot gooseneck???? I knew these Cummins equipped Rams could tow a bunch, but that is HUGE!:p
