Well the time has come that i need a new transmission. The stock one is beyond repair and it would be cheaper to get a reman. Any advice on where i can get a good reman transmission at. Im looking for one that has a decent warranty to it. Thanks for all your help guys.

I did fill out my sig but you have to click on my name to see it. I dont know how to get it to be visible to everybody else. Anyways, i have the NV5600 and im looking for a factory one.

So I'm pretty much a newbie too, but what I've figured out is that the more effort you put into your thread to start with, (where you're looking for help or info, etc. ), the more TDR heads will speak; Meaning, the more guys will be inclined and willing to help. For example, what's your application (towing {if so how much how often}, racing {if so only drag or drag and sled pulls, or ?}), physical location, how much you want to spend, if you can do the install or if you're like me and would have some expert do the work, etc. You get the idea. Just my personal experience on this and other forums, hope it helps. That being said, I have no clue on how to help you, but I will definitely watch to see what knowledgable folks say!

Thanks a lot BBoling. i went and filled out everything and added a photo as well. The transmission on the other hand i can replace on my own at my paps shop. My budget right now is between $2,500 and $3,000

check out bluementhal. last I heard they bought all the tooling and rights to reproduce 5600 parts. When I popped 6th gear and the input shaft a couple weeks ago I found a few rebuilt ones on ebay also. The prices were not too bad for being rebuilt.
