2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Need AC Help

I have a friend with a '95 2500 4X4 regular cab Cummins that I'm trying to help with his AC. I've had gages on the system and it has enough pressure in it that the compressor should kick in but it doesn't. Tried switching relays but nothing. The high and low pressure switches check out ok. Not getting and current to the clutch on the compressor. What else should I look at as possible causes? Thanks in advance for all help offered.

Do you have voltage to the power distribution box from the fuse?



Power across pins 30 and 87 of the relay?



Damaged wires from the a/c clutch to the power distr. box?

Yea - what Andy said



Check to make sure you are getting power to the relay from both - the ECM and the fuse. If one is missing - chase that backwards to find the problem.



If both are there - chase the wiring forward.
