Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Need advice for 12v performance

I've got a 96 auto 4x4 just recently put on a #6 tst fuel plate, AFE stage 2 cold air, ATS arc flow intake, gauges and a mag hytec transmission pan now as for the questions I've been looking into getting pump work done, what is the next step for my truck. 3,000 spring kit, timing, injectors; is so how big??? i like the super B single turbo, or do i NEED trans work done before anything? I wanna know the limit before hitting it. I've got the money right now so give me all your ideas. Thanks for your time TDR

your trans is on very barrowed time already.

If you go 100 hp over stock, you are going to have to do something to help your transmission survive. You might as well do the 3GSK and timing at the same time. As far as matching injectors and turbo, it depends on how much power you want to make, and how much fuel your pump will allow.

Dont wast your time. Drop the trans and get a good converter and VB and put it back on the road before it will put you out. Iam saying this considering the rest of your tans is not slipping. .

Now if you didnt have the money do at least the VB. Ive done just a valve body for a customer which is running a 96 on 100plate, 3000springs, full cut Dv, exhast, intake. It seems to hold up well for right now till he makes up his mind on a tq converter. Remember more line pressure=better lockup, and cooling. I would Go with DTT they are excellent people to deal with.

By the way how do you like the arc flow? you feel any difference in spool up? power?

1. Upgrade the entire transmission and new torque convertor. Since you have the $ do it right the first time.
2. 4gsk
2. 5 16. 5* timing
3. 370 injectors (balanced & matched)
4. TST 10 plate adjusted for driveability
5. 4" exhaust
6. Turbo
7. Pump work.

Ok. . so if trans is next then what brand and parts do i go with?... i want the speed out of the truck more than anything honestly, pull it sometime... ya but i want speed out of it! haha ya i know, dumb. so what kind of pump work and inj. w/ turbo should i go for. i want this damned thing around 400hp maybe im not sure i dont know what a fast diesel pic up thats reasonable for street runs. . 1/4mile time etc.
