who has the best prices on head studs "12mm" for an hpcr, or who is great to deal with, also anyone had any luck installing them without changing head gasket and how much boost are you making, thanx :D

Rip Rook and Piers had the best price when I was looking (they were the same $$), but the only people who had any in stock at the time was Jegs.

Just swap them out one for one using the torque pattern for the head listed in the repair manual. I would use that same pattern for incremental re-torques until you reach your final torque value. No need for a new gasket, or to remove the head for that matter. Someone had posted some really good step-by-step instructions at one time. Maybe someone can find that for ya and post a link.

67 lbs of boost is the most I have seen on my truck.

I tried to get some from Rip but he's no longer carrying them, but you can get either Van Haisley or ARP studs from Piers. Price was quite a bit less than from Summit Racing.

You should give Michael at HotRodDiesels.com a call. I know he had some ARP studs for 04. 5 600+ at a discounted price. I think he still has some in stock.

Give Patty or Van Haisley at Haisley Machine a call. I dont have their number handy but their website is haisleymachine.com.

Any idea why Rip got no longer carries them Vaughn?

Because ARP started making things difficult and wanted a $25,000 commitment or something to get to the level of pricing Rip wanted. Not sure about Van Haisley though (he might carry those, I would call).
