Injectors and Turbo
This thread has sparked my interest. https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?t=156368&page=1. I do not have all my prep work done yet, but I am putting a SB clutch, 4" Magna FLow SS exhaust, Smarty, and the turbo and Injectors are up in the air. I want to replace my turbo to get more air flowing and was curious if I could run bigger injectors without having to worry about EGTs. I was thinking about the m4's and either an htb2 or SPS 62. I normally pull 5000- 9000 lbs, but have found myself pulling 10,000 or more lately. I want to push the power all the way up and leave it alone and not have to worry about EGT's. Is it possible with that combo or what turbo would I need to run m4's or should I just stick with 1. 6's which was my original plan. On the Turbo I would like to stay with a single, not interested in twins. Another question is would any of those combos cause me to have head gasket issues from high pressure. I am not wanting a fire breathing dragon, just a good running dependable truck that could put most of the Fords in my area in their place, if I wanted to. :-laf
