It sounds like you could possibly have a leaking or sticking injector. You can try to isolate which injector is causing the problem by loosening one high pressure injection fitting (on the side of the cylinder head) at a time about 3/4 turn with the engine at idle. Be careful and keep your skin away from these fittings as fuel will be released at a very high pressure. When you loosen a fitting, it will cause the associated injector to stop operating. If it was working correctly beforehand, a noticeable miss or lope quality will occur in the idle. If the injector was NOT working properly, there will be little or no change in the idle quality.
Questions:
Who did the work?
Are the injectors all new Bosch units, or were new aftermarket nozzles installed in old nozzle holders?
Was this "lope" there immediately after the injector installation, or did it come on gradually afterwards?
Does the engine otherwise seem to run and perform normally above idle?
Best regards,
John L.
