Need advice.

My 99 is just so rusted out that it is not safe to drive anymore so I would like to sell it. I was just curious if you think I would be better off to sell it as is or part it out.

It would certainly be easier if you sell it as is. There is a lot of work to dismantling a vehicle. What is your time worth to you?

Another option if you have the time and facility, as well as the will to do it, could be to locate another unit and swap your driveline and other goodies into it. There's still some pretty decent ones out there just looking, finding and then doing all the work needed is the time hog...

But if you just want to get rid of it I have to agree sell as a unit and be done with it. You could allow folks that need items to "pick it" and probably make more money in the long run but then you'd still have to get rid of the remnants when all the good stuff is gone.

Yeah, you guys are probably right in the fact that I should just sell it as is, it would definitely be much easier.

Any idea what I should ask for it? It has 355,000 miles on the truck and around 165,000 on the engine since it was rebuilt. The body and frame are rusted severely.
