This pass Sunday, I was at a navy function to show what the navy can do for the students in the area. Some us decided to show our vehicles in the parking lot outside while we talked to the students. Some no good piece of &%$# stole my airbox. Does anyone have one for sale cheap? TIA

Conspiracy!

This sounds like a JFK / Psychotty / K&N conspiracy if I ever heard of one! Seriously, I hope you're able to find a spare airbox -- there should be at least one person here with a "spare" considering the number of owners who have removed their airbox alltogether and replaced it with an, achem, aftermarket device.

Greg

P. S. Who would steal a factory diesel airbox? That's just plain bizzare!

Hey, Rob Hanson might have one..... oh that's right, I think he already donated one to help a friend out who melted one on a turbine housing (not properly installed when going for a test drive). Doh!

Anyway, someone should have a spare air box on this BB. Did they steal the whole thing (meaning top and bottom)? If they only stole the top half I have the OE bottom half... I'm using the top half.

Red,

Have you though about going to a K&N re-0880. Allows alot more air. Just a thought. might be cheeper than a airbox about 69 bucks and a pice of 4in pvc pipe.

Adam

I already gave mine away... in reference to the scotty... I really like it. I used a piece of 4 inch exhaust pipe cause its a bit thinner and plenty strong.

Good luck in your search!

I have an air box that I will want to sell off very soon. I need to go with the K&N RE-0880 on my '95. The only problem is,it's still on the truck. Tell you what... if you send me an RE 0880,I'll send you my airbox.

Hey Red, i'll donate one of my aluminum ones to your cause if you want one. :D

all you'll need is a 41/2 inch hole and a RE-0880 filter to be back on the road.

email me if interested.

I want to thank all who replied. Tim Sielski is giving me his stock box... . what a great site. You all restore my faith in humanity. Scot :) :) :)
