Need answer on Borgeson install

I am installing a Borgeson double jointed sterring shaft and have a question. On the steering column end of the Borgeson shaft, they have one LONG allen set screw and one regular short screw. Why do they have this? There were no insralation instructions in the box. Am I supposed to drill through the steering shaft? Thanks for all opinions. Chris

yes when cut to length

drill through 1 side of the tube

and the long set screw will lock down

against the in side wall of the tube
