Getting ready to bomb. Just installed westach combo guage. at 65 mph with cruise on the guage reads 5lbs of boost. When I accelerate the guage moves but the max I get is about 10. As I am driving all of a sudden it will peg at 40 and drop to 0 then back to 5. Any ideas?
I have that plate in my '95, all your numbers are normal except the pegging thing... . only that long pedal on the right can come close to doing that... . mine goes to 35wot + load or hill. BAD GAUGE... . I have the same gauge and like it.
Think I found the problem. I checked all connections and hose routing. The hole i made through the grommet in the fire wall was too tight. Made it larger. The guage does not peg or fluctuate any more. 5lbs at cruise at 65mph and pressing the go pedel gets me up to 20lbs. My engine is stock. Do the reading sound right guys?
