Since the P7100 fuel solenoids are so expensive I want to look into rebuilding them. Does someone have a burned out one lying around they can send me? I'll gladly trade a set of LarryB's super contacts & plunger for it.

PM me if you can help.

Thanks,

Larry

I have one on my truck right now that went upin smoke about 2 weeks ago. I've been pulling on it every time I need to start the truck. I need to order a new one bad.

Larry: You can have my old one if you want it.

Let me know, and I'll have Dad ship it out to you...

Matt - solenoid free and proud of it! :D

That would be great. Is yours burned up or did you just remove it for the cable setup? I'd hate to ruin a good one that someone else could use. If you could have your dad send it to me and include your return address I'll send you some stuff in return. My address is on my site, www.fostertruck.com

Thanks allot, (is that a word?)

Mine was working fine until one day I took it off the truck to play with the pump.

The boot had rotted so bad that it fell apart in my hand.

It never went back on the truck after that happened. I shut my engine down by hand (for a month! :-laf ) until I got the cable setup hooked up.

I'll have Dad ship that solenoid out to you.

Larry: I talked to Dad before my lunch break... and he said that it was shipped out the middle of last week. So, it should be there any day now... .

Dad's usually good about putting his return address on things - so you could send the care package to the return address on the box he sends you...

I'm sure he'd share the goodies with me... ... even though you really don't have to send me anything in exchange... (the solenoid was collecting dust in the basement).

Glad I could help out...

Matt
