You might hafta do the Frankencamper #ad
thing, starting with a trip to the salvage yard to obtain the wiper from an SUV or minivan (will need about 15A circuit, as I recall). as for the flip-up window, and defogger, I got no idea a'tall #ad

It gets all crappy between the truck window and the camper front window. If the window flipped up, it would be a lot easier to clean. The truck winters in Fargo and Bad Axe.

This idea is about as valuable as snow tires in FL but...
I remember a while back seeing a kit to close off or seal that gap between the truck and camper, which also allows you to remove the rear window if you so desire. Unfortunately I don't remember where I saw it or where to get it. It looked like some sorta rubber seal.
Here's a "cheap" idea, buy some of that rubber pipe insulation at Home Depot, and stuff it between the two... around the outside. #ad

Several years ago I saw an ad for a double magnetic sponge window cleaner for this very task. I want one now, but can't seem to find one. It was like two sponges with a paddle handle on each. You put one on the outside of the glass and one inside. They magnetically stuck together and by moving the one inside the cap or the cab you were able to scrub the outside glass.

Anybody seen one of these?

OK, Leer makes a cap with a flip-up front window for easy cleaning, but nobody makes one with a defrosting strip built into the rear window, or a rear windshield wiper. Any suggestions there?

At one time you could get an electric rear window defroster that stuck on. They were similar to OEM ones now used on most cars. Another way is to use a small auxiliary heater.
For a wiper, could use a marine type, with the short arm, we use them on forklifts. It wouldn't clear the whole window but should clear enough to see out of. You may require a hole in the window frame or glass to install it. Lear caps come in several heights, and some have the same size window, but use a wider frame to take up the extra height.
My truck has a sliding rear window and I ordered the cap with one aswell, each side can be opened independantly for cleaning. I also have opening side windows instead of sliders, which allows access to items at the front of the bed. Email me if you need help finding the wiper or heater and I can look for them up here.

I did; they'll do anything but install a rear wiper and defroster! But they will install a flip-up front window to ease cleaning.

Go marine. Hella (and others) make a squirrel cage 12v blower/defroster (~ 8 amp draw) that would work well.
