Need clutch advice quick...

Truck's in the shop waiting for my go-ahead.



Need to replace the clutch, don't know between OFE and Dual Disc from southbend.



we tow a 16,000 lb fifth-wheel regularly, I have a smarty... when stock injectors go (2003 with 155,000 miles) I'm going with slightly bigger injectors... usually keep smarty on 7 when empty.



any advice is much appreciated!

You could probably use either, but I would call Southbend directly and tell them what you do with your truck and how you like to drive. They will steer you to the right clutch!!

Whats in mine right now also, single discs just did not like the truck .

Interesting... my stock clutch and pilot bushing gave up the ghost at almost exactly the same milage, 155,000 miles! I went with the SB Dual Disc and am very happy! I like the subdued rattle at idle!

good to hear... can't wait to get it back... I'm near Cincinnati Ohio, there's a shop here named Warren County Diesel that's doing the install... a great bunch of guys, always treat me right.

Just wondering, how does your rig shift ? Initial engagement ?

Peter keeps improving his DD design and apparently it is much quieter now than in the past.
