Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Need clutch alignment tool, Portland OR

My 12v has a new clutch ready to go in, but before tear down I need a used input shaft or a clutch alignment tool to realign the clutch. Does anyone have on to borrow in the Gresham/Portland OR area or know where to find one free/cheap. Thanks, Tom

Check at your local Advance Automotive, OReily's or automotive parts store. Some of them will lend tools with a deposit. Or, you can make one out of a broom stick or hardwood dowel from Home Depot or Lowes. Sorry, but Georgia is a little far

My new clutch (SBC) came with an alignment tool. So... . your clutch did not?

I bought a slightly used one private party and it did not come with a tool.

For what its worth I just rebuilt my trans and pulled my clutch to check it, put it back together with no tool. Its easy to get it aligned.
