Beyond a must see Movie..............

In summer of last year my wife and I started using a mac mini with our other components hooked up and we just love it. The question I have is: What is the best way to back up Iphoto in case of fire, theft, or computer crash?
We are using IPHOTO and it has tons of photos of stuff we dont want lost. Any suggestions would be great!!!

On-Line service that will keep data for you. I know my anti-virus protection will back up certain things ( which I don't plan on doing).

Also an external hard drive(They call them something else now) with a lot of GBs could be used. You would have to store it in save place ( I have a 500 GB one. I keep it where I can grab it on the way out. )

A thumb drive is what we call the external hard drive. Very handy way to save anything.

Also, check out the "Cloud" from Apple. I think that is the idea of it. I have not had time to research it yet so only speculating at this point...

Mike. :)

External hard drive x2 (minimum). Routingly rotate it between another residence and/or safe deposit box. Save many years of backups (with dates) as I've seen files go corrupt.

The thumb drives and USB Flash drives mite be to small to hold photos, I have not seen them over 16 GB. I have a 1 GB and 8 GB Flash Drive for trans porting photos ( the 1 GB is probably out dated now).

Office Max has good selection of the USB Flash Drives and External Hard Drives they have some Portable drives also that are smaller then the EHD and I believe now they run off the computer's power instead of having to plug it into wall socket (Like mine).
