Need to hire an engineer to help diagnos the signals to the injector pump (VP-44) Think that they are corrupted in some way still a bad idle. Goes from there. THANKS. PLEASE.

To analyze those signals, you will need a CAN-bus signal analyzer. These are not cheap. If these signals are corrupted as you suspect, the OBD-II should let you know through an error code. If it is a bad idle problem you are having, it could be low lift pump output, a clogged injector, or a problem with a camshaft or crankshaft position sensor (depending on the year). I wouldn't think the corrupted signals would clear up with the application of throttle. Your problem may be as simple as the engine is getting air in the fuel system (have you changed the filter lately?). Give us more information about your truck and the problem. And BTW, I am an electronic engineer.

Since new have had a bucking problem at low throttle and low on power has never had the viscous fan come on and never had any real power . have replaced MAPS,cps, iat, etc new injectors and ECM Had the use of a good scope this last summer and was able to see the signals passed to and from the injector pump came across a web site ??? troika diagnostika/ VP-44 VP44 close but not precise sorry my signals look close enough to be what I think I should be seeing. Have been back home for a few days and starting to function again. THANKS
