All, on the full 4x4 service two weeks ago my mechanic found the fill plug at the top of the transfer case had the socket really messed up and very difficult to get the tool inserted to remove it. He got it out and cleaned up the tool socket. He re-installed it but it needs to be replaced.
Challenge is that neither of the local dealers has a part number for it, has no part in stock, internet search gets me GMC plug info and I called Geno's and no luck there. I cannot find info on the plug size or threads so that I can get a non Dodge plug for it. Suggestions for a solution?
