Attention: TDR Forum Junkies To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.
my friend has a 01 qc 2500 4x4 auto with 85000 miles. within the last week the truck wanders all over the road, it also takes 3-6 inches of movement on the steering wheel for the truck to respond. Any help would be appreciated since it's his wifes truck and she has to fight it to drive
#1 culprit is the track bar, #2 possibility is a bad wheel bearing, check out both of those things and get a Darrin's Steering Stabilizer and the truck will be tight. I put one on my truck a while back and couldn't believe the difference.
If the steering is towed out or if the ball joints are shot it will also do that. The tire the has the most traction at the time leads being yanked aroiund by the unevenness of the pavement.
