Finishing up my Dipricol Optix gauge install this morning on my 2004, but I cannot find a 12V source that comes on with the lights that is not tied to the dimmer. The Optix gauges have their own built in dimmers, and the 12V for the LEDs are supposed to come from a full 12v souce that is live when the light are turned on.

I checked all the wires behine the headlight switch, but the only one with 12v is the dimmer circuit. I was thinking of possibly tying into the parking lamp relay output, but cannot locate the wires under the dash.

Any other suggestions??

Jeff, appreciate the idea, I used the cigar lighter for the gauge power, but becaise it is a 12v ingnition keyed power the LED lights would be on all the time if I hooked them to the same juice.

I actually just found a wire that worked. I'm not sure what it goes to. . but there is a 2 wire unusesd harness behind the center dash panel on the drivers side that is hot when the lights are on. Works great!!

Thanks again for the advice.
