Doc oh Doc, where art tho?

NOT so fun website

The subject almost says it all. After conflicts most weekends over who gets to use my truck. We've decided it's time to become a Two Diesel family.

Besides general transportaton, her truck will be used to pull a 3hrs. slant gooseneck aluminum trailer.

The perfect truck would a 94 up long bed, auto, 3. 54 geared, quad or club cab, turquoise truck. The waterfall combo offered back in the mid 90's, with white and turquoise, or solid turquoise would work. 12v is better than 24v since I've got a few recycleable items that would perk up a stock 12v.

High miles isn't that big of an issue as long as the price is fair. So if anyone knows of a deal that's all or two- tone turquoise please let us know.

Thanks, Ronnie

4x4? location limit? Lemmie see what I can find... ... leather? no leather? Inteiror color? Absolutely stuck on that color combination? What bout an "intense blue" color?

Kat, that was fast.

And yes, she's stuck on turquoise or turquoise and white. No problem with interior color, leather would be nice, but it's not a deal killer. 4X4 is best. Long bed is needed to have room for hay and other necessities when the gooseneck trailer is hooked up.

Location, lets see... ... , something within 1,500 miles of Arkansas is best.

Thanks, Ronnie

I'm still looking. I looked for a while this morning, but finally had to get some sleep. Will resume the search tommorrow morning after work. Is the color in the above pic close to the color your thinking of?

Your color combination is hard as heck to find. I have looked through about 500 trucks already, and only two have been the color you want.

How about this one? 124k miles asking $17,900 and its fairly close to you.

Here you go!

Or this?

1996 DODGE 2500, ext cab, DIESEL, 4x4, 82000 miles, auto, air conditioning, new/tires, sliding/glass, tinted/windows, blue, not a scatch, excellent condition, $16500 Its in NC

Heck looking at all these trucks... ... I have seen a couple of 12v's that I want to buy... ... ... ... ... ... .

Let me know if I am on the right track or not here. I'll be home from work about 7am. I'll keep looking. I am hoping the one above is what your looking for... . its like a 1 in 500 thing... ... . honest.

Kat, you are DA MAN!!!!!!

Yes the 82k, NC truck above looks like the one.

About the color, I'm told it's a Cowgirl thing. Kathy loves turquoise. Has this big turquoise horse head ring, almost never without it, matching boots, lots of other matching jewelry, shirts, you name it. And just to make things interesting, there's tons of different shades of turquoise, some almost blue, only one proper shade will do however, and Dodge used it. What luck, I kinda like the sandstone shades, or red, white or black.

Thanks again for the search effort. I've been doing a little searching myself when I've had time. Guess I haven't been working hard enough.

Ronnie

I'll keep looking. Since the Mustang I ordered is is on hold (for the color by Ford) then if I come across the "perfect" 12v truck I'll have to pick it up.

All I can say is call as soon as you can to see if the truck is still avialable. I hope it is. And let me know if and when you buy it.

I'll keep looking tho... ... .

Well so far this morning looked at bout 450 more trucks... nada zilch zippo... ..... man thats a hard color combination.

I sure hope that one in North Carolina works out!!!!!

How serious are you bout it?

I have someone about 30 miles away from the truck willing to check it out in person for you. Let me know if you are interested or where you wanna go from here.

Told ya I would get on it... . :D

I'm back.

Sorry, was away for a moment. Sounds great, I talked to the guy this morning. He was going to be away over the weekend on a mini-vacation for a coupla of days. Don't know if he'll be able to show the truck or not. But what the heck, I really would like to get a first hand, unbiased report.

So, all I can say is, "Thanks Guys".

Ronnie
