Hey guys. I have decided that i REALLY would like to put stacks on my truck and will do whatever it takes to get the on. Problem is that i dont know where to start. Anyone with stacks on the 3rd gen have a reciept or something they can post where they got there parts from, or just the part numbers? Please help me out. Thanks

Nick

Look in the classified section under "TDR Member Basement Enterprises. " Rob Thomas sells a kit with everything you need. Saves time and money.

Thanks jeff i sent him an email. hopefully he will respond soon. 695 is not bad at all. I am just wondering what material the pipes are he uses under the truck

His kit does it the best way. A single 90 degree elbow up into the bed and the split is done there. Less plumbing, no pipes hanging down, and with a little metal work, you can completely hide all the plumbing in the bed.

If you are ever out in Cincinnati, there is a guy who will do the stacks for $300 including material and labor! He uses really nice chrome stacks and the work and materials are top notch (I think he gets most of the plumbing, elbows, and bands from the peterbuilt dealership).

300!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how the heck would he do that! im sure everything he uses under the truck must be aluminized! could he do a stainless steel set-up? wow if you could get me this guys number or email addres that would be great. I am willing to drive to cincinatti for a deal like that

I apologize for all the teasing

O-kay I apologize for the ribbing that is going on here X, cuz I kind of started it. Now I really feel like I owe you a cold one. Good luck w/ the stacks. Later

Hey man its ok dont worry about it. I am a young guy (18) i have different tastes in what i want for my truck compared to the older guys

Hey X it's your truck to do what you want with it. I personally bought mine for towing (although the performance of this truck impresses me every day) and if I want the speed I will get out the '68 gto I have had since I was your age. Some of the guys here think their truck should be a "tough" 4X4 with none of that bling chrome stuff on it but will put a chip or box in it to take on someone at the strip or light. That's cool too. Hot Rod did a piece on a 2500 Hemi a while back with the taller wheels, flames, and dual exhausts that looked really sharp. I tried to find more info on their site but I found a different link:Hot Rod Hemi The article I am referring to was in the magazine and may not be available on the site.

I am an ex-Chicago guy myself and used to work in your neck of the woods in Elk Grove. I really miss Portillos!

And my house is right down 83 right after the big bridge is that splits wooddale and bensenville. LOL thats pretty cool someone here knows exactly where i live.

X, I was at the PRI show in INDY this week and there was a company that sold the whole set up for 430 for 4" and about 30-40 bux more for a 5" set up. I will see if I can find the flyer in my bag of stuff from the show. They said they could make up to a 7" system. I will look into it and see if they have a web address:D
