Since my FR steering tire went out tonight, I'm going to go ahead and get 6 new ones as they were almost dead anyway. So you guys who are AZ (Phoenix) members, where is the best place to get tires in the Valley? I'm in Tempe, so I don't want to go too far but if it is worth the drive I'll do it. I'm not real high on the chain guys, (NTB). Who do you guys trust?

I have been doing business with Discount Tire for 16 years, and highly recommend them. They carry all major brands, and their service is second to none when it comes to flat repair, rotations, etc.

Costco sells Michilens, might have to order the ones you want. But they did have a set of load range e in stock. I forget the exact size.

Had good luck with Discount Tire. a no BS warranty!

By far, go with Discount. My brother-in-law works for them, and I get my Boggers for my Rock Buggy through them cheaper than anywhere else. And yes, their warranty is by far the best. And they are based in the Valley, Scottsdale is corp headquarters.

They can get any tire, Michelins, Yokohama, whatever.
I have the factory 8 inch aluminum wheels with 265x75 Load Range E Michelin LTX tires with 17,000 miles, and they are only showing slight wear. Rotate them every 5 to 10,000 miles, if you want even wear. The front end is so heavy, you'll wear them out first. Unless, you have too much tire smoke from BOMBing, of course.

Thanks for the advice guys. I got my 235/85/16's on today and they look great. I used discount tires and they were really helpful and they did a great job. Rock out.
