Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I posted this question in the 12 valve forum, but was hoping to get more exposure and input by also posting here. Does anyone know if when you have located TDC with the timing pin if #5 intake rocker arm is suppose to be loose (valve lash is 0. 009)? When looking at the 12 valve adj procedure the manuals show after locating TDC with the timing pin the following valves are to be adjusted: Intake on #1,#2,#4
Exhaust on #1,#3,#5
I thought after locating TDC with the timing pin all the loose rocker arms would indicate to proper valves needing to be adjusted and all the valves with tight rocker arms would get adjusted when rotating the engine 360 deg.
Am I wrong here?
