truckers assistance needed

Hello Friends

My family is relocating to the Spokane area and need some help determining the best areas for schools and housing. We are going to rent for a few months until we find the right house and would like to find a good area so we can get our son's in the right school and not have to move them after a few months to another school. Are their any areas that we should avoid and why? We are looking for an apx 3500 sq ft newer house no at least a half acre. A big shop would be great. If anyone knows of a house that fits this criteria please let me know. We are planning on taking a road trip up thier in 2 weeks and would like to make it most productive.

thanks in advance

DD

My sister-in-law made the same move from Escondido 18 months ago. I'll get the skinny on the schools from her and post. The housing there is great! They ended up with 4500 sq ft in an upscale hood for around 425k. That's the price of a fixer for me. Course I don't have to wear long johns in the winter. I'll post as soon as I hear from her. Mike

Good luck up there, Dan. I'd rather be there than here right about now. I stayed up in WA for about three months for work.

Depending on how far from town you want to be Deer Park is a nice place and about 35 miles away. It used to be pretty rural but so many people from Spokane have moved out that way it's becoming a suburb. Jake
