Need Help Locating 03 PCM

I am installing a remote starter unit on my 03 3500 6 speed and need to find the tach wire and the wait to start wire. All the info I have says they are in the PCM harness. The PCM is supposed to be on the right side engine compartment firewall. It is not there. Can any one help in locating these wires.

You should be able to follow the wires from the transmission to the PCM. I had a 2nd generation and now I have a 3rd but I think the PCM is part of the ECU on mine.

Check and see what year your truck is 04 and up do not have a DC PCM.

I don't know if this will help but there is a computer mounted to the driver's side of the engine block . I don't know if it is the ECM of the PCM or both

Does the stick shift have the PCM like the auto's???? My 5 speed has nothing in the way of wires on the passanger firewall. I thought I heard there were some electronics under the battery trays??

My truck is an 03 but it does not have a PCM on the firewall. I have read some posts which say the 04's do not have a PCM and am wondering if the 03's PCM was deleted and also included in the ECM mounted on the left side of the engine. Thanks

the 03-04. 5's did have a separate pcm for auto trannies. none for manual. . i believe the 05's have only the ecm/pcm combo that controls both when a auto is optioned

Driver side under Relay/fuse Box, FCM Front control Module.

Will the tack wire and the wait to start wire be in the front control module or in the ECM?

LDM, You need to fine build Date and get the wiring schematics for that Model, I have found that wire in three different places.
