2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission NEED HELP! New transmission and shift linkage is out of whack!

[Bug Out]

Just had a new ATS trans installed and got home. The auto trans shifter does not feel like its going all the way into park, and you have to REALLY push the shifter up to get it to lock...



Otherwise, you can't get the key out. ,



Any idea's on how to adjust the linkage?

Look for clips coming off or bolts loose or something like that. There really is not a lot to screw up or to adjust. If it worked OK when you left and is a problem now it is more than likely a clip or a bolt that fell out... ...
