Need help now

I am installing an ISSPRO transmission temp guage. The guage has 3 studs, one is marked "+", one is marked "S", and the thrid is marked with the ground symbol. My assumption is that the sensor connects to the "S", ground to the grounding stud and a positive voltage from the fuse panel to the "+". Please if someone has installed these before I need some advice.

You've got it right. Just make sure that you get the power from a circuit that is only powered when the key is on.

I got my power from the cig. lighter circuit. Hot only with the key on.
