Need HELP, on 07, 5.9 production date for G56 Ratio

Found a 07 59 six speed with a production date of 11-9-06. Dealer said trans code was AD on the six speed, does anyone know if this is the . 74 to 1 six gear or not? Any help is needed quickly. Thanks Chris

AE is the newer set of ratios.

Yes, my truck was built on 12/13/06 and I have the new AE trans with higher gears. Love them!

AD vs. AE's

I've got the AD with a build date of 10-16-06. With my camper load and all,I'm kind of glad I do as I'll be able to upgrade to a 35" tire next time without killing the clutch. Anybody running 33's or stock will benefit from the the AE transmission. I run out of rpm's upshifting in this thing! I just wish somebody would release a 275-85-17 E range tire for those who don't want the width,but desire a taller tire. 19. 5 aren't an option for me.
