hey all,

Need help on value of 93 W350 4x4 with 5spd. Little cab corner rust but otherwise great shape. Newer trans, everyhing works 116k. Injection pump seals starting to weep. The front end has a little shake and she needs tires. What would you guys pay? Help!

There Is A Guy Around The Corner From Me Just Got 8900 Out Of His D350 With Auto And A 130k On The Clock It Was A 92 Reg Cab But Thats In Central In.

KBB is often low on 1stGen pricing.

If the body looks ok other than the rust, I'd say it's worth $6-7K, depending on other stuff. When I get my W350 club cab fixed up, I plan to ask about $7K for a starting point. If I paint the top half, more like $7500.

But, needing a new pump and front suspension/steering work, that is a HUGE bargaining point- I'd drop to about $4500 and see what he says. Estimate $800 for the pump, and $5-900 for the front end work. At least for bargaining purposes. That's about what you could expect to pay a shop to do the work.

WHat gears, and what cab?

Daniel

I left him a message I would take it at $6k. I had offered $5,5k.

The truck was solid all the way around. Someone took really nice care of it. Even has factory mopar tach.

It is a 5 spd dually 4x4 3:55 club cab.

Pete, that's a decent deal if he accepts your offer. Club cab, 4x4, duallie, 3. 55's, and a solid body. Even with the work it needs. Good job! ;)

that would be a good deal i wish mine came with a tach. if he dont take your 6k offer let me know my dad is looking for an 1st gen he plans on keeping his 98 12ver but he likes the fuel econmey that mine gits

Daniel - cant the pump seals be replaced?

Yes, they can. But I also said for bargaining purposes, letting the seller think he had no mechanical skills and needs it hired done. If he can reseal it for $25 and a couple hours' time, he is about $700 ahead. Ok, at least $400 ahead. I think my last pump (91 nonIC) was around $450, and included the throttle bushing and timing piston.

$6K isnt bad at all. If you and the seller are happy, it's a good deal. Can you get a better deal? Yes. How long and far will you have to look? Who knows.
