Anyone tried the Hella 1300 Optilux?

Is this a good price for sport lamps?

I just purchased a 1998 3500 12V, and it needs tires. I have looked at tires at my local tire dealers and get a lot of recommendations.

I have narrowed it down to the following based on needs and price:

Mastercraft Courser R/D

Dunlap Rover A/T

Kelly Sufari CSR

All are 215/85/16 Load E and range between $733 to $794 for 6 tires, mounted, balanced, and taxed.

The main use of the truck is pulling a 22ft Car Hauler. With car and other things in the trailer it all comes to about 7000 lb. About 95% of the miles will be on the highway. The other will be just running around hauling stuff for projects.

I run Yokohama's on my 96 3500 and I really like them. I haven't had any problems with fexy sidewalls. I do run 235/85/16's though. I didn't see what gear ratio you have in the rear end, but I would think about 235's if you have 4. 10's like me. I bought mine from the Tirerack.com and only paid 630 for all six delivered. It didn't cost to have them mounted cause I worked at a shop that could do it, but I would look into the internet options. Just my . 02 worth.

I can only say I have had two sets of Dunlop Radial Rover RVs in the past. Both sets wore out VERY quickly. No Dunlops for me anymore. Never heard of Mastercraft and know nothing useful about Kelly. If I may suggest... . if you are towing, don't scrimp on your tires! A ribbed tire will benefit you greatly in wear and stability. I'm sure they may be more than you want to spend, but the Michelin XPS Ribs are GREAT tires for your application. Check em out! http://michelinman.com/catalog/tires/MichelinXPSRib.html?tiretype=6&tire=6

Best wishes,

David
