HI guys, i am new to the forum, but this morning I jumped in my truck and while going down the road i had a extreme loss of power. I thought the fuel was gelling, so i pulled over and notice that near the top of the pump the fuel was squirting out of a little rubber hose. The idle is still fine I just want to know why the pump is squirting the fuel out?

That would be the rubber hose on the backs side of the black tower looking piece that sticks up above the main body of the pump? If so thats the aneroid control and you can take the top off of it to verify that it is full of fuel. In the bottom of the aneroid is a pin that pops out from towards the front of the pump that controls your low boost/ no boost fueling. There is an o-ring on it in the body of the pump that will leak fuel into the aneroid body. I believe you need to pull the top of the pump off to get to it. Might be a good time for a pump reseal job.

Heres the truck and its FOR SALE

I really dont want to mess with the pump right now, so I have decided to sell. I hate to see it go but I need something newer. If it does not sell on here I will post it on ebay this week.
