I need help installing a killswitch, don't know how to do it, called alarm shops, no luck. I live in Southern California and was wondering, If I pay someone will you install one for me or at least help me install one? Thanks so much. -Bobby

Any hot rod shop should be able to wire up a battery disconnect switch for you. They are requird on most race cars. Is a battery disconnect what you are after?

Actually, not really I know how to do a battery disconnect; but that is too much of a pain in the ***, I rather have like a switch (hidden of course) inside the cab that would kill the starter or starter solenoid.

You should be able to break the ground on the Yellow wire with the Dark Blue Stripe (cavity #6), and the computer will think the truck is in gear, therefore, no crank. However, you get to keep your radio settings, etc.

I would just wire up a switch to break the circuit.

Nice suggestion Merrick! I just added this to my favorites. I'll be doing this when I wire up the lockup switch...

No prob. ALso notice, you could probably trigger a relay off of cavity #4 for some reverse lights, or what not... Or maybe even "security/courtesy" lamps when you unlock the truck.

"Security/Courtesy" lamps would be reverse lights and, or, foglights that illuminate when you unlock the vehicle...

May or may not work depending if ignition "on" is required.
