need help with ac , its hotter than $%^$

my ac clutch keeps blowing the fuse, its not a short in the clutch or pigtail, or the clutch relay. i think its in the harness, does any one have any input on what could be wrong as i cannot find the exact place of the short... ... ... help guys its soooo hot right now and my wife aint happy

There is a diode between the two connection at the clutch check it it has probibly gone south. This diode is there to protect to the computer upon disengagement, don't just cut it out.

i disconnect the pigtail at the ac compressor and we still blow the fuse when we turn ac on (compressor clutch disconnected) this is where I am at sooo its somewhere between the relay and the pigtail at the ac clutch, I lose track of the wires when they come across the front of the engine and junction by the power steering pump

any ideas

Maybe the problem is at the other end, near the switch or the switch itself

found it. it was the wire loom across the front of the engine
