need help with adapter for Ford conv.

I am looking for information on an engine to trans. adapter to marry a 12v 6bt cummins into a 1990 ford truck with a zf five speed transmission. I have heard that there is a ford part no. that fits the bill. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Ford-Cummins is the only place I have found so far.



I'm still trying to get information from the local Ford dealer on how they mate the Cummins to the transmission in the F650's.



Please let me know how your conversion goes - I'm trying to round up parts to do a 92 F350 Crewcab!

I have posted this question for a friend who is wanting to put a 12v in a 1990 Ford crew cab. The easy way is to use the nvg 4500 transmission and adapt it to the Ford transfer case. I am doing my best not to get coerced into performing the swap, since I would rather spend my time enjoying my 24v 1985 suburban!
